Red Planet reviewed on Ytsejam.com | THE VITAL MIGHT

08/06/09 - Red Planet reviewed on Ytsejam.com

It’s always fascinating to hear band names that we don’t know much about in a review of our music. It compels us to find the music and see who else out there in the universe we might sound like!

Here’s the review:

Here’s an excerpt:

Musically The Vital Might lends to the slicker side of indie rock, encompassed within the sounds of Modest Mouse and St. Vincent, along with the complexity (& even occasional heaviness) of The Mars Volta & Tool, add the more rooted prog sound of bands such as Spock’s Beard & Xinema and their recipe is set - the fit in with labelmates Fluttr Effect & Little Atlas as well as other alt-prog purveyors Dial, Jolly, and Liquid Scarlet - highly recommended for fans of any of those bands.
